Of course, there are many safety features built into Online Banking. A brief description of these are:
  • You choose your own Access ID and Password. No one will know that ID and Password unless you tell them.
  • Your information or transfer request must pass through several security verifications (firewalls) before it is accepted.
  • Information returned to your computer from the bank passes through those same firewalls.
  • Your account numbers never travel over the internet.
  • All information transmitted, either to or from the bank, is encrypted at the highest level available today.
  • Unauthorized attempts to login to Mission Bank Online will cause the access to be locked. Contact the bank to unlock your access.
